Paper moves things around and leaves crumbs. A handheld sprayer on the line that already fills your toilet tank: a quick rinse with cold water, then a couple of squares to pat dry. One valve, one hose, one holder, fitted by you with the water off. No plumber required.

Paper alone

You know the word for it. Paper does nothing about it.

If you have ever stood up from a long sit and felt it, you know the word for it, and you know paper does nothing about it.

  • A man in a light blue shirt, seen from behind, standing up from his desk chair on a hot afternoon, a fan and a glass of iced water on the desk

The long sit. You stand up, and you feel it.

  • A hand pulling a long ribbon of toilet paper off the roll, already wound into a thick wad around the fingers

Wipe, and wipe, and wipe. Paper moves things around and leaves crumbs behind.

  • An empty cardboard tube on the roll holder beside a toilet, a new multi-pack of toilet rolls on the floor

The last roll, again. Restock the paper, or get a sprayer.

Then, halfway through the afternoon, the thought: am I clean? Water ends all three. A quick rinse with cold water, then a couple of squares to pat dry.

Here is our difference

One valve, one hose, your own line.

  • The T-valve fitted under the tank, the supply line into its bottom and the coiled hose from its side

It runs off your tank’s own line.

One small T-valve splits the cold water two ways: to the tank as before, and to the sprayer.

  • The sprayer head close up: the round nozzle face and the trigger lever

    A light press is plenty.

The trigger sits under your finger. The water is cold, straight from the tank’s line, so start light.

  • The holder on its adhesive plate pressed flat onto white tile

    Pressed on, not drilled.

The holder’s adhesive plate goes onto tile or a painted wall, beside the tank, where your hand finds it.

  • The small lever on the T-valve under the tank

A lever for the sprayer side.

The small lever on the T-valve opens and shuts the sprayer side. Shut it when you are done.

The install card, in photos

Four steps. One towel.

  1. A hand turning the small shut-off valve on the wall behind the toilet, a folded towel on the floor1

    Water off, then flush

Turn the small valve on the wall behind the toilet all the way off. Flush once. Towel down.

  2. A hand unscrewing the supply hose from the bottom of the tank, a few drops falling onto the towel2

    Unscrew the supply hose

Where it meets the bottom of the tank. A little water drips out. That is what the towel is for.

  3. Two hands screwing the chrome T-valve onto the tank inlet by hand3

Fit the T-valve and the hose

T-valve onto the tank, supply hose onto its bottom, coiled hose onto its side. Hand-tight first.

  4. A hand pressing the holder plate flat onto white tile beside the tank4

    Holder up, water on, check

Press the holder on. Turn the water back on slowly and check every joint for drips.

A wrench comes out only if a joint weeps, and then only a quarter turn. Check every joint again after a week.

What’s in the box

Four parts, one bathroom.

  1. 1The sprayer, with the trigger under its head
  2. 2The coiled hose, with a nut at each end
  3. 3The T-valve, with a small lever for the sprayer side
  4. 4The wall holder, on its adhesive plate

The install card lands in your inbox the day your order ships. No thread tape and no spare washers in the box; tape is up to you.

The install card

Every step drawn, down to the washers.

It lands in your inbox the day your order ships, so you have read it before the box arrives: one drawing per step, which way each washer sits, and what to do if a joint weeps.

“The instructions that come with the bidet are beyond horrible..”

A joint that weeps, or a part missing? Email a photo to support@freshbasin.com. The president of Fresh Basin answers.

What to expect

Install day to day sixty.

  1. A bright bathroom on a Saturday morning, the sprayer just fitted beside the tank, a towel still on the floor and a mug on the windowsillInstall day

    Make it a Saturday.

Fit it in the morning before anyone else is up, and let them find it working.

  2. The sprayer in its holder beside the tank, folded towels and a small plant on the tank lidWeek one

    Rinse, then pat dry.

A light spray is plenty, then a couple of squares to pat dry. Check every joint again after a week.

  3. A full toilet roll on its holder below the sprayer in its holderMonth one

The roll lasts weeks instead of days.

Keep one for drying and for emergencies.

  4. A bright bathroom in morning light, the sprayer in its holder beside the toilet tankDay 60

Week one

Fresher, no crumbs, no second-guessing.

  • Fresher

A quick rinse with cold water, then a couple of squares to pat dry. You walk out fresher than paper has ever left you.

  • No crumbs

Paper moves things around and leaves crumbs behind. Water does not. Keep a roll for drying and for emergencies.

  • No “am I clean”

None of the “am I clean” thoughts halfway through the afternoon. A light spray is plenty.

Can’t believe a bidet is not in every American house.

Where it goes

Your bathroom. The other one too.

  • A guest bathroom with sage green tiles, the sprayer in its holder beside the tank

    The second bathroom.

Two bathrooms means two complete kits, $79.99 for both.

  • A compact apartment bathroom, the sprayer in its holder on the wall beside the tank

    A rental.

The T-valve goes between the tank and its own supply hose. When you move, unscrew it, screw that hose back onto the tank, and pack the sprayer and hose.

  • Looking straight into the chrome nut on the end of the coiled hose

    Look inside each nut.

Any rubber washer should sit flat, not folded. If a nut has none, email us before the water goes back on.

  • A plain brown parcel on a doormat outside a front door

    At your door.

Ships the next business day and arrives within 5 to 10 business days. The install card arrives first, by email.

What’s in the box

The sprayer, the coiled hose, the T-valve and the wall holder with its adhesive plate. No thread tape and no spare washers. The step-by-step install card with drawings is emailed the day your order ships. Two bathrooms means two complete kits.

Will it fit my toilet?

It is made for a toilet with a tank and a supply hose from the wall. Every thread on the T-valve is G1/2, as listed by the maker. Each joint should start turning with your fingers; if one will not, stop and email us before you force anything.

Is the water cold?

Yes. It is the same cold water that fills your tank, with no heater. Start with a light press.

Shipping and the 60 days

Free shipping. Orders ship the next business day and arrive within 5 to 10 business days; tracking is emailed when it ships. Try it for 60 days. If you still reach for paper alone, send it back for a full refund, even if you never used it. A joint that will not stop dripping is covered too. Every email is answered by the president of Fresh Basin.

What people ask before they fit one.

Do I need a plumber?

No. If you can turn a valve and screw on a hose, you can fit it. The step-by-step install card with drawings walks you through each step.

Will it leak?

A joint tightened by hand can loosen over time. Check each one after the first day and after a week; give it a quarter turn if it weeps. Still dripping? Email us.

Is the water cold?

Yes. It is the same water that fills your tank. A light press is usually plenty.

Will it fit my toilet?

It fits a toilet with a tank and a supply hose from the wall. Toilets without a tank, the kind with a lever on a metal pipe, are not a match.

I rent. Can I fit it?

Nothing is cut or drilled for the valve. When you move, turn the water off, unscrew the T-valve, and screw the tank’s own supply hose straight back onto the tank.

When does it arrive?

Free shipping. Ships the next business day; allow 5 to 10 business days to your door; tracking emailed when it ships. US street addresses only.

What if I do not use it?

Try it for 60 days from delivery. If you still reach for paper alone, email support@freshbasin.com, send it back, and you get a full refund.
